We're sad to see you go. Here's how to delete your account and data.
Before You Delete
Please note that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted:
- All your personal data will be permanently erased
- Your partner connection will be removed
- All messages, photos, and shared content will be deleted
- Your game history and achievements will be lost
Method 1: Delete from the App
Recommended - Quickest way
Open Valentine App
Launch the Valentine app on your iOS or Android device.
Go to Profile
Tap on the "Profile" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Access Settings
Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner to open Settings.
Select Account
Scroll down and tap on "Account" in the settings menu.
Delete Account
Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the Account section.
Confirm Deletion
Read the warning message and tap "Delete My Account" to confirm. You may need to re-authenticate.
Method 2: Request via Email
Alternative option if you can't access the app
If you're unable to delete your account through the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Send an email to:
delete@valentineapp.comInclude in your email:
- Subject: “Account Deletion Request”
- Email address associated with your account
- Username (if known)
- Reason for deletion (optional, helps us improve)
Processing Time: Email requests are processed within 48 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

Can I recover my account after deletion?
No, account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you want to use Valentine again, you'll need to create a new account.
What happens to my partner's data?
When you delete your account, your partner will be notified that the connection has been removed. Their account and data remain intact, but shared content (like messages between you) will be removed from their view as well.
Can I just delete my data without deleting my account?
Currently, we don't offer partial data deletion. You can delete individual messages or photos within the app, but to remove all data, you'll need to delete your account.
How long until my data is completely erased?
Your data is deleted immediately from our active systems. However, it may take up to 30 days to be removed from all backup systems. Some data may be retained longer for legal compliance purposes.
I forgot my login. Can I still delete my account?
Yes! Send an email to delete@valentineapp.com with the email address you used to sign up. We'll verify your identity and process the deletion.
